I’m Ben, a creative director and copywriter with a truly integrated background and a passion for big, simple ideas that change behaviour. I bring insightful, clear thinking to the table.


In another life, I was an account man at some of the top agencies in London. So you could say I’m a creative with added value; a creative who is organised, diligent and comfortable in front of clients. And because I’ve worked on the other side, I’m now generously enthusiastic.


While a ‘suit’ at AMV I wrote my first ad – an award-winning poster for The Economist magazine – and suddenly the idea of getting paid to follow my creative passion was an idea too big to ignore.


Since swapping my PC for a Mac 14 years ago, I have worked above, below and through every line going, more recently with retailer brands and brands in retail. 


As a Creative Director at VCCP, as well as running the 30- strong creative department for a couple of years with my then partner, I’ve helped turn Canon into a storytelling brand, created a world-first for O2, won an energy drink pitch, got my hands dirty (literally) in the world of Shell lubricants and championed the virtues of sitting together for Harveys.


I believe in producing work that is difficult to ignore and impossible to forget. Everything we create must inspire action. Anything else is pointless.
